As a Risk and Information Protection Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and digitalization of our systems, contributing to our vision of being the world’s most climate-friendly and respected metal provider. Who you will work with:
You will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team within Boliden's central IT security group. As a valued member of our Risk and Information Protection function, you will work closely with colleagues across the organization, from IT to the broader business areas, ensuring smooth communication and security process alignment. Together, we’ll create impactful, secure solutions that advance our digitalization goals.
What you will do:
- Lead the risk assessment process, from planning to follow-up, ensuring the company meets IT security standards and drives digital transformation.
- Own and facilitate security training and awareness programs, helping employees stay informed and protected.
- Serve as a key member of the IT security team, collaborating with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and others on a variety of initiatives.
- Guide solution architecture for the areas within your responsibility and ensure that IT security is embedded in all processes.
- Cooperate with site tech teams and advise on IT security matters, as well as evaluate and implement cutting-edge security solutions.
- Monitor the latest trends in IT security and help lead the development and implementation of security solutions tailored to Boliden's needs.
What you bring (competence):
- Proven experience in IT security, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate colleagues.
- Strong understanding of risk management processes and the ability to define, communicate, and educate others on security protocols.
- Technical expertise in IT security technologies, including servers and clients, with a knack for abstracting complex details for senior management.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in writing clear plans, instructions, and reports to support decision-making and compliance.
- A passion for IT security, with the confidence to take charge and lead teams toward achieving a secure and future-proof environment.
