Your opportunity:
Our business is growing and now we are looking for a Supervisor with technician responsibilities to join us! An important part of our business is operation of our tailings dam and treatment of process water before it is released into the environment, which, together with raw water and stormwater management, falls under your area of responsibility. In 2026, we will commission a completely new tailings dewatering plant to extend the lifetime of the area and reduce the environmental footprint; this plant could become a part of the production you will be responsible for.
In this role, you will have personnel and work environment responsibility for 5 daytime operators. You will play a key role in ensuring that employees have the knowledge and resources needed to perform their work safely and efficiently. You are a present manager for your employees and work closely with other supervisors and other roles. You also have extensive responsibility for the technical know-how of your process area.
Who you will work with:
You work during the day and are located at the Concentrator in Boliden. You will be part of the production department consisting of 45 process operators, 5 shift supervisors for shift process operators, a production planner and three production technicians, and you report to the Production Manager for the Concentrator Plant. Your workplace:
The concentrator belongs to the Boliden area together with three mines and plays a central role in extracting and producing metals. The ore comes to us from the mines to be processed into concentrates that can be sold to our customers, the smelters. At our company, the ore undergoes several different process steps, including grinding, flotation and leaching of precious metals. The plant is divided into several process sections: ore handling, grinding, flotation, dewatering, leaching, tellurium production, and tailings management. What you will do:
- Managing and distributing work for the operating staff
- Ensure the right skills, qualifications, and staffing among the personnel
- Ensure that we meet our production targets
- Lead smaller projects and be a technical resource in larger projects
- Perform risk assessments and risk analyses and ensure that they are complied with
- Work systematically with documentation, SOPs, instructions and training material for the operating staff
- Work in several different digital business systems
- Permit Giver for Hot Work
What you bring:

In this role, it is important that you can handle both technology and people and have the ability to clarify information and expectations. You have the skills to manage disagreements and promote collaboration.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- High school diploma and either relevant experience in a similar type of role/business or university or college education in technology
- Relevant technical training or equivalent professional experience
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language or the desire to learn and good knowledge of English
It is meritorious with:
- University education, MSc in civil engineering, maintenance or similar
- Experience of larger implementation projects
- Experience with Autocad and/or drawing technology
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations in industry (AFSar, machinery safety, inspectable facilities, etc.)
