Welcome to GO Beyond – Ericsson’s flagship early-career rotational program designed to develop the next generation of problem solvers, innovators, and changemakers with 1-3 years of professional experience.

 

What will I be doing at Ericsson?

  • You’ll join a team working on real business challenges and reshaping Ericsson's operations.
  • You might help develop Gen AI strategies for adopting new technology or support projects modernizing our systems and processes.
  • You won't just watch transformation happen – you’ll be part of making it happen. Our leadership team discusses digital initiatives and automation in company meetings, and you'll be contributing to those projects.
  • In your first few months, you'll build relationships across departments while engaging with meaningful work. As you progress, you'll participate in workshops with business teams, contribute to project plans, and see how your work connects to Ericsson’s bigger picture. And that's just your first rotation!

 

What is GO Beyond?

Your GO Beyond Journey

  • First 6 months: Learn about Ericsson’s business, meet key team members, and start contributing to transformation projects in your primary role.
  • Second rotation: Rotate to a different department to broaden your experience and gain new skills.
  • Post-rotation: Return to your permanent role, take on high-impact projects, and continue your development with new responsibilities.

 

Roles and Key Focus Areas

The GO Beyond program has nine roles available across three key areas. For more in-depth information, check out the GO Beyond careers program.

 

1. Strategic Growth and Transformation – 5 Roles

This area focuses on driving business strategy, organizational change, and high-impact transformation across the business.

 

  • Units: EIT M&A, EIT Employee Experience, Group Strategy, EIT Enablement, Group Sourcing
  • Key Focus: Business strategy, AI-driven business models, transformation leadership, change management in sourcing and employee experience.
  • Core Skills: Project management, IT system integration, M&A processes (EIT M&A)

 

o UX design, employee engagement, digital tools adoption (EIT Employee Experience)

o Strategic analysis, operational transformation, AI-driven business models (Group Strategy)

o Sourcing transformation, change management, AI & automation (Group Sourcing)

o Change leadership, platform adoption, digital transformation (EIT Enablement)

  • Looking for: Self-starters with strong interests in driving transformation initiatives, managing change, and leading strategic projects.

 

2. Data-Driven Operations and Transformation – 3 Roles

This area uses data to improve performance, optimise processes, and ensure compliance.

  • Units: Group Sourcing, EIT Business Empowerment, EIT Core Operations,
  • Key Focus: Data governance, compliance, procurement systems optimisation, service integration, performance management
  • Core Skills: o Data analysis, digital transformation, automation tools, AI (Group Sourcing, EIT Business Empowerment) AND Service integration, IT systems, enterprise IT (EIT Core Operations)
  • Looking for Self-driven individuals who can work independently, use data to optimise operations, and solve complex problems in a data-driven environment.

 

3. Digital Transformation and Technology Integration – 1 Role

 

This area focuses on integrating emerging technologies, such as AI and automation, to drive business transformation and innovation.

 

  • Unit: Group Digital Transformation
  • Key Focus: Digital transformation, AI & automation integration, technology solutions for procurement and cloud-based systems
  • Core Skills: Digital transformation, AI, machine learning, and cloud solutions

 

· We are looking for people with initiative who can adopt and implement technology solutions and drive operational efficiency through digital transformation.

Group Function Global Operations (GFGO) was established in 2022 to streamline global operations, improve customer and employee experiences, and enhance agility and competitiveness. By consolidating various support functions, such as sourcing and Enterprise IT, and People and Finance functions, under one umbrella, GFGO helps drive operational efficiency across Ericsson.
