About this opportunity:
In Borås, we boast a state-of-the-art cleanroom equipped with advanced machinery for semiconductor packaging. Our facility collaborates closely with PA Development, Ericsson Research, and other units within Ericsson to drive technological advancements and prototype development.
To support the increasing demands of microelectronic packaging products, we are seeking a young, recent graduate to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with design teams to ensure that prototypes and products are developed with the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in the development of production processes, ensuring that our prototypes can transition smoothly into reliable and cost-effective manufacturing. This position involves bridging the gap between design and production, strengthening our capabilities in electronic packaging and industrialization, and ensuring product excellence from design to production.
What you will do:
· Collaborate closely with Ericsson teams in R&D and Research to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, high quality, and reliability.
· Work within a team of approximately 7-10 people, including cleanroom technicians and product & process engineers.
· Provide expertise in industrialization to ensure that newly developed products can be manufactured with high reliability and cost-effectiveness.
The skills you bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or Electromechanics.
· Interest in microelectronic packaging processes, material characteristics and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
· Interest in product and process development.
· Innovative mindset and passion for driving technology leadership.
· Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn new things.
· Enjoys working in a team environment.
· Passionate about making a meaningful impact in an expansive market.
