About this opportunity:
Product Engineering Unit Radio (PEU Radio) is looking for a Radio System Architect within the Radio System and Technology (RST) organization.
Reporting to the Section Manager of Radio Product Architecture, you will be part of a senior organization working with radio system architecture, covering all radio segments. The work is mainly done in early phases and includes architecture roadmap definition.
As Radio System Architect, you will work in defining our future radio architectures and technology evolution, focusing on performance, cost effective solutions and energy efficiency. You will drive technical activities and contribute to strategies in the area of radio architecture and radio energy efficiency.
You will work closely with other departments within PEU Radio and collaborate with other organizations across Business Unit Networks (BNEW).
What you will do:
- Technical driver of radio architecture studies
- Contribute to radio energy efficiency studies
- Secure Radio architecture key product KPIs
- Contribute to radio architecture roadmap and technology evolution
- Execute on radio strategy plans
- Collaborate with different units in PEU Radio and across BNEW to secure alignment between early phases, product development and RAN.
The skills you bring:
- You are analytical, structured and result oriented. You are a team-player, collaborative and able to work across dynamic environments.
- Good technical knowledge in radio system and architectures.
- At least 7 years of experience in the area of radio systemization, HW technologies and design.
- Experience from working with radio energy efficiency is a merit
- Basic knowledge and understanding of RAN and ASIC components
- Experience from driving technical tasks
- A can-do attitude to make things happen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Technical education corresponding to M.Sc. or above
