At our cutting-edge Silicon design unit in the vibrant tech hub of Stockholm, we don’t just follow industry trends—we set them by using the most advanced tools, methodologies, and technologies. The Virtual Platform Development section is part of the Product Engineering Unit Silicon within the Radio & Transport Engineering unit, where our team develops and maintains virtual platforms for various Ericsson Radio Base Station hardware. These virtual platforms are simulators used for pre-silicon software development and running regression suites that complement those running on existing hardware. Therefore, we’re looking for talented individuals to join our innovative team.
What you will do
• Use C++ to develop and integrate hardware models into our virtual platform
• Be a standout team member with effective communication skills to proactively support others and the project to succeed.
• Drive continuous improvements in products and processes and develop competence in the technical domain
What you will bring
• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent education
• Experience in working with software design and development for several years, and professional experience of C++ development, knowledge of the use of C++ templates and object-oriented design in C++.
• A strong understanding of hardware components, including processors, DSPs, hardware protocols, interrupts, GPIOs, and memory systems
• A passion towards code quality, and a good understanding of how hardware and software interacts
• Knowledge about Embedded Linux
• Experience and knowledge in System C/TLM and Open Source software modelling is an advantage.
• A basic understanding of using Linux as a software development platform.
• Proficient Skills in English speaking and writing
