Your opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Communications Specialist for Boliden Business Area Mines (BA Mines). In this role, you will report directly to the HR & Safety Director for BA Mines and collaborate closely with Group Communication. You will play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies that align with Business Area Mines’ overall objectives. This position is based in Boliden, but remote work is possible.
Who will you work with:
You will work closely primarily with the BA Mines management team and Group Communication. Additionally, you will coordinate with BA Mines Public Affairs to address communication needs and activities.
What will you do:
- Develop and execute a communication strategy: Create and implement a long-term communication strategy for BA Mines’ strategic focus areas, based on BA Mines’ strategy and guidelines from Group Communication.
- Point of contact for the management team: Serve as the communication liaison for the BA Mines management team and assist with internal communication.
- Support strategic projects: Provide communication support for strategically prioritized projects within BA Mines, both externally and internally.
- Produce and coordinate: Shoulder responsibility for communication activities and align communication efforts with Group Communication and various business units to ensure consistent messaging on focus areas within BA Mines.
- Collaborate with Public Affairs: Work with BA Mines Public Affairs on communication needs and activities.
What you bring:
- A relevant university degree in communication, marketing, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in communication, preferably in a similar industry.
- Experience in developing and executing communication strategies in day-to-day business life.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in handling both internal and external communication.
