The Engineering Services and Experience (ESE) is a newly established unit within the RAN Software & Compute Platforms Engineering unit (RCE). Its primary goal is to enhance Developer Experience and drive technology evolution and optimization of the engineering environment flows for open and cloud-native RAN software development.
What you will do:
- Develop automated solutions
- Develop and maintain automated test environments and deployment pipelines.
- Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and write efficient Jenkins Pipelines (Groovy, DSL).
- Manage version control with Git and ensure smooth integration processes.
The skills you bring:
We are looking for a developer with 5+ years experience. You have worked in several different projects where you have been exposed to all parts of the development life-cycle.
- 5+ years experience of developing with Bash, Python, and/or Groovy.
- Good understanding of Linux servers.
- Passion for automation, continuous integration, and software development best practices including test.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines, CI/CD, and Git.
- Experience from close cooperation with end-users, both for new features as well as in maintenance.
Meriting skills:
- Experience with highly scalable distributed systems.
- Experience in DevOps
- Experience in GitOps and Infrastructure as code
- Knowledge about
- Network/Juniper/Extreme/IP networking
- Nautobot
- Kubernetes
